成都市老龄社会追踪调查是由四川省人口与发展数据实验室主持的一项追踪调查项目，旨在收集成都市50岁及以上中老年人家庭和个人的高质量的多期微观数据，用以了解成都市老年人口的规模、结构与素质，分析成都市人口老龄化问题，并为制定和完善多层次养老服务体系与老龄友好型社会提供政策建议。
The Southwestern China Ageing Panel Study-Chengdu Region (SWAPS-Chengdu) is a longitudinal survey project conducted by the Sichuan Provincial Data Laboratory of Population and Development. By collecting multi-wave data on families and individuals of people aged 50 and above in Chengdu, the researchers aim to understand the size, structure, and quality of the elderly population in the region, analyze the problem of population ageing, and provide policy suggestions for formulating and improving a multi-level elderly care service system and an age-friendly society.
1.数据描述
成都市老龄社会追踪调查关注中老年人的人口统计学特征、迁移流动、经济和就业状况、养老与社会保障、社会参与、家庭代际关系以及积极老龄观等内容。问卷设计参考国际和国内经验，具体内容包括七个模块，即个人基本信息，工作和社会参与状况，健康状况，积极老龄化态度与行为，子女状况与代际关系，消费与支出，临终关怀与死亡焦虑。
根据随机抽样流程以及成都市三圈层人口比例，抽取成都市街道（镇）共18个，于每个街道内选择3个有代表性的社区（村），对社区内50周岁及以上中老年人进行访问，每个社区的有效问卷回收数量为30份左右。最终收集问卷1545份，剔除基本人口统计学特征缺失的个案后，有效样本量为1521份(删除年龄、性别、教育、婚姻、民族、户口的缺失及年龄不满50周岁者)。
1. Data Description
The survey focuses on middle-aged and older people’s demographic characteristics, mobility and migration, financial and employment status, elderly care and social security, social participation, family intergenerational relationships, beliefs in positive aging, and more. Questions were designed concerning domestic and international experience. Specifically, the survey includes seven modules: basic personal information, employment and social participation, health status, positive aging attitudes and behaviors, children’s conditions and intergenerational relationships, consumption and expenditures, end-of-life care and death anxiety.
Based on the random sampling process and the population ratio of the three circles in Chengdu, 18 streets/towns were identified, and then, three representative communities/villages were selected in each street/town. Approximately 30 people aged 50 and above were interviewed in each community/village. A total of 1545 questionnaires were collected. After excluding cases with missing basic demographic characteristics (i.e., age, gender, education, marital status, ethnicity, and household registration) and those under 50, the final sample was 1521 participants.
